Radius of circle is 15 cm. There are two chords of length 24 cm each . What will be the distance of these chords from the centre of the circle?​

l = 2 \sqrt{ {r}^{2} -  {h}^{2} }

24 = 2 \sqrt{ {15}^{2} -  {h}^{2}  }

24 = 2 \sqrt{225 -  {h}^{2} }

 \sqrt{225 -  {h}^{2} }  = 12

225 -  {h}^{2}  = 144

 {h}^{2}  = 81

h = 9
