Answer:

929 kernels

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the curved surface area:

Curved Surface Area = 2πrh

Curved Surface Area = 2π(6.6)(11.2) = 464.64 cm²

Find the number of kernels:

1 cm² = 2 corn kernels

464.64 cm² = 464.64 x 2 = 929 kernels

Answer: There are 929 kernels on a corn.

yogeshgupta279: A corn is like a cone shape how? 2πrh then?
TooFree: I would think it is more of a cylinder shape, flat on both sides? A cone will need it slight up to be shape on one end.
