radius of curvature (R)=30cm
focal length (f)=30รท2
=15cm

since the mirror is concave,
the object should be placed at Focus.
i.e. the object should be placed 15cm from the mirror.

When we the object to form at infinity than it should be placed at focus. Here ,since the radius of curvature in 30 cm.Therefore the the distance between the pole of the mirror and the focus i.e Focal length will be 15 cm as F=1/R.Therefore the object should be place 15 cm in front of the mirror to get the image at infinity.
Hope u like it.
