The type of mirror is convex. The reflecting surface of a covex mirror is bulged outward. So the focus and its radius is formed inside the mirror.By sign convention the measure of r is negative in case of concave mirror and positive in case of convex mirror. Here it is given r = +30 cm. This means that the mirror here is convex.
