To Find -
- Image Distance ?
Solution -
Focal length is half of the radius of curvature.
So, the focal length is 20 cm.
Now, Mirror Formula : 1/v + 1/u = 1/f.
So, 1/v + 1/-30 = 1/20
⇒ 1/v = 1/20 + 1/30
⇒ 1/v = (30 + 20)/600
⇒ 1/v = 50/600
⇒ 1/v = 5/60
⇒ 1/v = 1/12
⇒ v = 12 cm
Hence, The Image Distance = 12 cm.
