And the electric field at the mid pt. of the gold nucleus is zero
bcoz it is a closed surface and electric field inside a closed surface is zero
However according to gauss theoram, it is equal to enclosed charge ( in case of gold =7.3 fm × 1.6 × 10 -^19 ) ÷ permittivity of free space
