Volume of Sphere = Volume of Wire

  \frac{4}{3}\pi {r}^{3}  = \pi {r}^{2} h

 \frac{4}{3}  \times \pi\times 9 \times 9 \times 9 = \pi ({0.4})^{2} h

4 \times 3 \times 9\times 9 = 0.16 \times h

Height = 6075 cm

Height = 60.75 m

Answer:

The length of wire is 155.52 m

step-by-step explanation:

For metallic sphere,

Radius (R) = 9 cm

.°. Volume = 4/3 × π × 9^3

= 972π cm^3

Now, it was melted to make a wire

So, the volume of wire will be same as it is.

we know that, a wire is cylindrical in shape

Radius of wire(r) = 4 mm = 0.4 cm

=> Volume = π r^2 l = 972 π

=> (0.4)^2 l = 972

=> l = 972/0.16

=> l = 15552 cm

=> l = 155.52 m

srbarle: l = 60.75 m
