Radius of semicircle is 44cm what is the area of semicircle?

Hi,  

Let the radius of the semicircle = r

 r = 44 cm ( given )

 Area of the semicircle ( A ) = (πr²)/2

 = ( π × 44² )/2  

= 1768π cm²
