Given:-

  • Radius of the earth is 6,400 km and that of Mars is 43,00,000 m.

To find:-

  • Whose radius is bigger and by how much?

Solution:-

According to the question,

⇢ Radius of the Earth = 6400 km

⇢ Radius of the Earth = 6400 × 1000

⇢ Radius of the Earth = 6400000 m

And,

⇢ Radius of the Mars = 4300000 m

Now,

⇢ Radius of the Earth - Radius of the Mars

⇢ 6400000 - 4300000) m

2100000 m

Hence,

  • Radius of the Earth is greater than the radius of the Mars by 2100000 m.

Question

Radius of the earth is 6,400 km and that of Mars is 43,00,000m whose radius is bigger and by how much ?

Step-by-step explanation:

radius \: of \: the \: earth \: = \: 6400 \: km

6400 \: \times \: 1000 \: m \: = 640000

and \: radius \: of \: the \: mars \: \\ = 4300000

radius \: of \: the \: earth \: is \: \\ greater \: than \: the \: \\ radius \: of \: the \: \: mars \: by \:

=(6400000 - 4300000)m

 = 2100000m

Answer:

=2100000 m
