Question:-

Radius of the earth is 6400 km and that of Mars is 4300000 m. whose radius is bigger and by how much?

Solution:-

As we know,

ㅤㅤ(1km = 1000m)

So,

Radius of the Earth = 6400 km = 6400 × 1000 m = 6400000 m

radius of the earth = 6400000

And radius of the Mars = 4300000 m

∴ Radius of the Earth is greater than the radius of the Mars by (6400000 – 4300000) m = 2100000

Answer => So, radius of earth bigger by 2100000 m.

Radius of the Earth \text{=6400 km}

 \text{ = 6400×1000 m = 6400000 m}

Radius of Mars \text{=4300000 m}

We see that, \text{6400000 > 4300000}

Difference \text{= (6400000-4300000) m}

 \text{2100000 m}

\fbox {Thus, the radius of the Earth is bigger than Mars by 2100000 m}
