but this is the explanation of what i interpreted

r1=11cm

r2=4cm

$\pi = 22 \div 7$

$area \: of \: big \: circle = \pi \: {r 1}^{2} \:$

• = 22/7×11×11
• =2662/7 cm^2

$area \: of \: small\: circle = \pi \: {r2}^{2} \:$

• =22/7×4×4
• =352/7 cm^2

$area \: of \: ring \: = \: area \: of \: big \: circle - area \: of \: small \: circle$

• =2662/7-352/7
• =330 cm^2
