(c) Trisaccharide.

Raffmose is a Trisaccharide. Trisaccharide Raffinose is first member of series of homologous oligosaccharides which is called as the “raffinose family oligosaccharide(s)” and 6-galactosyln-sucrose is known as the stachyose.

The pentasaccharide and hexasaccharide is named as verbascose (DP=5) as well as ajugose (DP=6).

Most widespread polymers and studied aspects mainly considered as short-chain oligosaccharides.
