raja ram mohan roy was a social reformer ,he was the maker of modern India. he was the founder of the greatest socio -religion reforms movements  brahmo samaj . he always promoted women empowerment . raja ram mohan roy thought of women and wanted them to be educated . he stared movements against it , he was successful in doing this , he established schools and colleges for women . in that time women were not considered humans only , they didn't have any wages so they were dependent on their husband for livelihood  , then many reforms took place to change women's life.
