a) Molar mass of sodium chloride = 58.44 g/mol

b) Number of moles of NaCl dissolved =

1 mole NaCl = 58.44 g NaCl

So, 5.85 g NaCl = 0.1 moles of NaCl

c) 0.1 moles in 1 lit hence it is 0.1 M solution of NaCl.
