Answer: 300 Rs
Step-by-step explanation:
we will use them method of assumption here. First check the data to ease up the calculation.1/3 and 1/4 is given , LCM of 3 & 4 is 12.
So let us assume that the Total Money he has is 12units
spend 1/3 on book =1/3*12=4 units
this means he spent 4 unit on book. Now he is left with 8 units
ATQ he spends 3/4 of the remainder on a pen (this statement has the main logic) it 8*3/4=6units on pen
this means out of 12 units, he spend 6 units on pend & 4 units on book.
NOW ATQ
the difference b/w spending of book and pen is 60RS but according to our assumption it is
6units-4units=2units
ATQ
2units is equal to 60rs according to statement
2units=60
1 unit=30
Total money He Spent= 10 units
10 units= 300Rs
