Let the ratio be 8x:3x
The difference between both ratio is 5x and numerical it is 35
So, x = 35/5
x = 7
Ratio be becomes 8(7) : 3(7)
= 56 : 21
Total things bought = 56+21
= 77
Out of which
Pencils = 56
Pen = 21
