Given :-

• Raghu deposited 6000 Rs for 1 year

• Rate of interest on amount = 12%

• Given time = 6 months

Solution :-

Principal = 6000 Rs

Rate of interest = 12%p.a

Time = 6 months

Amount = P ( 1 + R/100)^n

Amount = 6000( 1 + 12/100)^2

[ We have to calculate CI half yearly ]

A = 6000 ( 100+12/100)^2

A = 6000 ( 112/100)^2

A = 6000 * 112/100 * 112/100

A = 6 * 112 * 112/10

A = 3 * 112 * 112 / 5

A = 37632/5

A = 7526.4 Rs

Hence, The amount recieved by raghu is Rs7526.4 .
