Hi there,

The question given has some incorrect information. Hoping the correct question to be as follows and thereby solving accordingly:

Rahim buys mangoes at rate of 3 kg for 21 rupees and sells them at 5 kg for 50 rupees to earn Rs.102 as profit he must sell?

Answer: 34 kg mangoes

Step-by-step explanation:

C.P. of 3 kg mangoes for Rahim = Rs. 21

C.P. of 1 kg mangoes for Rahim = 21/3 = Rs. 7

S.P. of 5 kg mangoes for Rahim = Rs. 50

S.P. of 1 kg mangoes for Rahim = 50/5 = Rs. 10

Profit earned by selling of 1 kg of mangoes = S.P. – C.P. = 10 – 7 = Rs. 3

So, if Rahim earns Rs. 3 profit by selling 1 kg of mangoes

Then, in order to earn Rs. 102 as a profit he must sell = 102/3 = 34 kg of mangoes.

Hope this is helpful!!!!!
