According to question

Share of A : Share of B : Share of C

= 18000×12:24000×8+24000×2:15000×4+18000×4

= 18 : 20 : 11

B's share of profit = 2049×12005 = Rs.4,900/-

Khan shares a profit of Rs 8,321.73

Given:

Amount invested by Rahim = Rs 16000

Amount invested by Salim = Rs 24000

Amount invested by Khan = Rs 36000

Total profit after 6 months = Rs. 63800

To find :

The share of Khan in a profit

we know that,

Total amount = amount invested x number of months

Total amount invested by Rahim = 16000 x 6 = 96000

Total amount invested by Salim = 24000 x 6 = 144000

Total amount invested by Khan = 36000

The ratio of their investment i.e,

A : B : C = 96000 : 144000 : 36000

              = 8 : 12 : 3

Khan's share in profit is

   = (3/23) × 63800

   = 8,321.73

Therefore Khan shares a profit of Rs 8,321.73
