 i)Number \: of \:toys \: sold \: at \: the \: rate

 of \: profit \: Rs \:5 = 48

 \blue { Total \: profit }

= 48 \times 5

 = Rs \: 240

ii)Number \: of \:toys \: sold \: at \: the \: rate

 of \: loss \: Rs \:3 = 12

 \pink{ Total \: Loss }

 iii)\red{Net \: Profit }

 = Total \: profit - Total \: loss

 = Rs \: 240 - Rs \: 36

 = Rs \: 204

Hence, his net profit is Rs.204 .

Solution :-

Rahim sells 48 toys each at a profit of rupees 5.

.°. Total Profit = 48 × 5

=> Total Profit = Rs. 240

And 12 toys each at a loss of rupee 3.

.°. Total Loss = 12 × 3

=> Total Loss = Rs. 36

.°. Net Profit = Total Profit - Total Profit

=> Net Profit = Rs. ( 240 - 36 )

=> Net Profit = Rs. 204 .
