Given :-

  • The cost price of a radio = Rs. 800

To Find :-

  • The Cost price of radio for Deepak = ?

Solution :-

  • To calculate the cost price of radio for Deepak we have to calculate separately for all person. Then we can easily find out the cost price for Deepak.

Calculation for Rahul :-

[Cost price = Rs. 800. P = 20%]

SP = (100 + P%)/100 × CP

⇢SP = (100 + 20)/100 × 800

⇢SP = 120/100 × 800

⇢SP = 120 × 8

SP = Rs. 960

Calculation for Amaan :-

  • Cp of Amaan = Sp of Rahul]

[Cost price = Rs. 960. L = 5%]

SP = (100 - L%)/100 × CP

⇢SP = (100 - 5)/100 × 960

⇢SP = 95/100 × 960

⇢SP = 0.95 × 960

SP = Rs. 912

Calculation for Deepak :-

⇢ SP of Amaan = CP of Deepak]

Therefore, Deepak has to pay Rs. 912 for radio:-
