Find the amount of time Rahul take to finish his homework:

1/5 of his homework = 1 hour

5/5 of his homework = 1 x 5 = 5 hours


Find the amount of time Neha takes to finish her homework:

3/7 of her homework = 1 hour 30 mins

3/7 of her homework = 1.5 hours

1/7 of her homework = 1.5 ÷ 3 = 0.5 hours

7/7 of her homework = 0.5 x 7 = 3.5 hours = 3 hours and 30 mins


Find the amount of time Riya takes to finish her homework:

3/4 of her homework = 3 hours 30 mins

3/4 of her homework = 3.5 hours

1/4 of her homework = 3.5 ÷ 3 = 7/6 hours

4/4 of her homework = 7/6 x 4 = 14/3 hours  = 4 hours and 40 mins


Find the time that Rahul finished his homework:

12pm + 5 hours + 30 mins of break time = 5.30 pm


Find the time Neha finished her homework:

12pm + 3 hours 30 mins  = 3.30 pm
