The amount of money = Rs 91

The eldest get twice as much as the youngest

The eldest get $\dfrac{3}{2}$ times as middle brother

To Find :

The share of eldest brother

Solution :

Let The share of youngest = y

     The share of middle = m

     The share of eldest = e

∵ The amount of money = Rs 91

So,  y + m + e = 91                    .........1

Again

The eldest get twice as much as the youngest

i.e   e = 2 × y                        

Or,  y = $\dfrac{e}{2}$                                 .........2

And

The eldest get $\dfrac{3}{2}$ times as middle brother

i,e   e =  $\dfrac{3}{2}$ × m

Or,  m = $\dfrac{2e}{3}$                               ...........3

From eq 1 , 2 , 3

y + m + e = 91  

$\dfrac{e}{2}$ +  $\dfrac{2e}{3}$ + e = 91

Or,   $\dfrac{3e + 4e + 6e}{6}$ = 91

Or, 3 e + 4 e + 6 e = 91 × 6

Or,  13 e = 546

∴         e = $\dfrac{546}{13}$

i.e      e = Rs 42

Hence, The share of elder brother is Rs 42   . Answer
