•Let the distance covered by Rahul to his college be 'd'.
He went with a speed of 20km/hr.
So the time taken by him would be d/20 hr (t=d/sp.)
•Now he came back the same distance so again the distance covered by him would be 'd'.
He came back with a speed of 30km/hr. So the time taken by him to come back would be d/30.
•Average speed of his entire journey is 24km/hr (av. sp.= total d/ total time).
