Rahul has two packs of CDs. PACK 1of 10 CDs, each of capacity 700 MB and PACK 2 of

10 CDs, each of capacity 800 MB. He wants to copy 9 GB of data on CDs. He has only 4

CDs left out from PACK 1. But he has PACK 2 unused. If he uses the 4 CDs from PACK 1,

what will be the minimum number of CDs needed by Rahul from PACK 2 to copy the entire

Answer:

data to be copied = 9000mb.

data copied on pack 1CDs = 4×700= 2800mb

data left - 900 - 2800 = 6200mb

no.of cd from pack 2 required to copy

6200mb =6200/800 = 7.75

rounding of 7.75 we get = -8

so he will need 8cds from pack 2
