perimeter of rect. field = 2( l + b )

= 2 (400 + 200 )

=2 x 600

= 1200 cm

cost = 1200 x 150

= 180000 Rs.

perimeter of square field = 4 x s

= 4 x 300

= 1200 cm

cost = 1200 x 150

= 180000 Rs.

cost for fencing is same in both the fields

area of rect. field = lb

= 400 x 200

= 80000 cm^2

no. of trees that can be planted in it = 80000/10

= 8000 trees

area of square field = s x s

= 300 x 300

= 90000 cm^2

no. of trees that can be planted in it = 90000/10

=9000 trees

hence 1000 trees more can be planted in the square field
