Answer:

According to Newton's second law-

F=mga

Where,

F is the force need to push a object and has unit Newton.

m is the mass of the object.

g is the gravitational force having value 10m/s^210m/s^2

h is the height of the object.

Now,

work done can be given as-

W=F×d

Where,

d is the displacement.

W=2×10×1

W=20

Therefore the work done by the gravitational force on the book is 20N.

Given: Rahul pushes a book of mass 2 kg on the table from point A to point B, which are 1 m away from each other.

To find: We have to find out the force.

Solution:

We know that according to Newton's second law

F=mga

Where F is the force need to push a object and has unit Newton.

m is the mass of the object.

g is the gravitational force having value 10m/s².

h is the height of the object.

Now work done can be given as

W=Fxd

Where d is the displacement.

W = 2 * 10 * 1

W=20
