let rakesh's salary be x

then, Rahul's salary = x-0.4x

                                = 0.6x

then, Deepak's salary will be 0.6x+(0.6x*0.8)

                                             = 0.6x+0.48x

                                             = 1.08x

given, Deepak's salary = 34560

therefore, 1.08x = 34560

                        x = 32000

therefore, rakesh's salary = 32000
