Let the price of article be a

According to question

a - 15% of a = 680

=> a - 15a/100 = 680

=> 85a/100 = 680

=> 17a/20 = 680

=> a = 680 * 20 /17

=> a = 40*20

=> a = 800

Original price of article = Rs 800
