Rahul takes 12 days to complete the work.Amit takes 10 dys to complete the same work .Together they take 5 days to complete to complete the same work.How many days will Ramu take to complete the same work​

Let 'x' be the number of days Ramu will take to complete the work,

So, in 1 day Ramu will do 1/xth of work

Given Anshu takes 12 days to complete the work,

So, in 1 day Anshu will do 1/12th of work. Given Pranav takes 10 days to complete the wor,

So, in 1 day Pranav will do 1/10th of work.

Now, given that all 3 takes 5 days to complete the same work.

All 3 working together in 1 day they will finish

(1/x + 1/12 + 1/10)th of work,

so in 5 days they will finish 5(1/x + 1/12 + 1/10)th of work = 1

=> 5/x + 5/12 + 1/2 = 1

=> 5/x + 5/12 = 1/2

=>5/x = 1/12

=> x = 60.

Hence Ramu will take 60 days to complete the same work working alone.
