Rahul travels to his office by a car at a speed of 40 km per hour and reaches office in 9 minutes late if he drives his car at a speed of 50 kilometre per hour he riches 6 minutes early. what is the distance of his office from his home

so distance = 40km/h × (x+9/60)h

ii) Speed of car = 50km/h

Therefore, time taken = xhours - 6mins

= (x - 6/60)hours

similarly...distance = 50km/h × (x-6/60)h

= (50x-5)km.......(b)

Now compare a with b

(40x + 6)km = (50x - 5)km

10x = 11km

x = 11/10km
