His Mathematics teacher was a very nice person. She was very patient and kind. She was an expert in the subject and explained the lessons nicely. She was never rude to anyone. She talked lovingly with everyone. She was tall and graceful. Her voice had a soothing effect.
She did not mind explaining the sum again if any student did not understand something. Sometimes she used different methods to make them understand the sum correctly. The students were not scared to ask her any questions because they knew that she would help them and not shout at them for being dull witted. That is why all the students did well in Mathematics, in her class.
Actually Rahul was very poor in Mathematics. Out of all the subjects he used to get the lowest grade in Mathematics. He had developed a fear of the subject and used to feel that he could never understand it. He used to feel inferior to the others. But when he came to this teacher's class things became much easier. Somehow he felt more confident in her presence. She was so patient with him, she explained the sum to him separately and even went to the extent of encouraging him and saying that he was a fast learner.
She worked wonders in his life. Mathematics became interesting. Soon he started getting good grades and even topped in the class. He was grateful to his teacher who boosted his self confidence and made Mathematics fun for him.
