Rahul went to play in a square park of it's side measuring √2 + √3 km. For his school project he had to find its area as well as it's perimeter. Help him do so.

Area of a Square is = s² where s is its side

= ( √2 + √2  )²

= 2 + 3 + 2√2√3

= 5 + √5

Simplification :-

√2 = 1.41421

√3 = 1.7320

= 5 + (2)(1.41421 )(1.7320)

=5 + 4.89897

= 9.89897 m²

Perimeter = 4s

= 4 (√2 + √3 )

= 4√2 +  4 √3

Simplification :-

4(1.41421 ) + 4(1.7320)

= 5.65685 + 6.92820

= 12.58505 m
