2.) There are many other ways through which one can create rainbows:

• You can put oil in water and you will find that this also shows dispersion phenomena.
• You can take a CD and hold it in light
• You will also see this phenomena in soap bubbles.

• Rainbow could be formed using a ball point case because of the difference in refractive indexes of air and the material of ball point case. This difference caused the light to bend when entering the pen case.
• When held at a particular angle with respect to light, it acts  as a prism causes various colors of light to disperse in the pen case forming a rainbow.
• Different activities that could create rainbows :

1. Using a glass prism.
2. Allowing light to fall on CD
3. Through the water bubbles due to iridescence.
4. When washing your hair rainbows could be seen in the water droplets of tip of your hair.
5. When standing below waterfall, looking up from a particular angle rainbows could be seen.
