Here is your answer,

============================================

A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.

It takes the form of a multicoloured circular arc.

Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.

Hey there!

Rainbow is a natural spectrum appearing in the sky just after a rain.A rainnow is always formed in a direction opposite to that of the sun.

it is caused by the DISPERSION OF SUNLIGHT BY THE TINY WATER DROPLETS PRESENT IN THE ATMOSPHERE.

Here the water droplets acts as small prisms.The basic phenomenons in the formation of a rainbow are:

>Dispersion

>Internal refraction

>& Refraction

Hope it helps! :)
