hey mate ...rainfall cools the land area as we know when the rain comes rain droplets land on the earth surface the heat which is inside the earth is absorbed by that water droplets then the heat converts to droplets into the the vapours which is elaborated ....

for example we all have noticed that in summer days when the the rain comes show some amount of water is evaporated directly within the seconds this all happens because of the heat which is being absorbed by the water droplets....
