my answer is Work done = 480 kJ

Explanation:

assuming g = 10 m/s^2

density of water = 1000 kg/m^3

weight of water droplets within that area

= mass(m)*g

m = density*volume

= 1000*2.4*0.0125 = 30 kg

weight = 30*10 = 300 N

work = weight of water*height to which water is raised

work = 300 * 1.6*1000

= 480000 joules = 480 kJ
