Step-by-step explanation:

(1) volume of water filled in the cylindrical vessel= volume of water collect in the rooftop

= (22×10×2.5/100 ) m³

= 11/2m³

= 5.5m³.

(2) let the requried height of the water vessel be h metre.

Radius of the vessel ,r = 50/100m = 1/2 metre.

volume of water in cylindrical vessel =( 22/7×1/2×1/2×h) m³

=11h/14m³.

therefore, 11h/14 =11/2= h=(11/2×14/11)metre =7metre.

hence, the height of water in cylindrical vessel is 7 m.
