Let us assume total profit made by Raj and Ali = Rs x
They give 20% of their profit in charity.
So, remaining profit = 80%
Distribution of profit between Raj and Ali  in 3:2 ratio of remaining profit.
So, Raj's share of profit =  \frac{80}{100} × \frac{3}{5}  × x
Given , Raj's share of profit = Rs 2400
Hence,  \frac{80}{100} × \frac{3}{5}  × x = 2400
=>  \frac{4}{5}  × \frac{3}{5}  × x = 2400
=> x =  \frac{2400 * 5 *5}{4*3}
=>x = 5000
Ans: Their total profit is Rs 5000.

Let the total profit be Rs. 100.

After paying to charity, A's share = (95*3/5) = Rs. 57.

If A's share is Rs. 57, total profit = Rs. 100.

If A's share is Rs. 855, total profit = (100/57*855) = 1500.
