Let the direction in which Raj starts cycling be the +ve direction
Speed of Raj = 5km/h
Speed of Payal = – 6 km/h { Since her direction is opposite to that of Raj }
Relative speed of Raj and Payal as seen by observer on the ground
Rel Speed, V' = 5 – ( – 6 ) = 5+ 6 = 11 Km/h
Distance b/w the two, D = 27.5 km
Time = Distance / Rel Speed
Time = 27.5 / 11
Time = 2.5 hours
