Raj borrows rupees 8000;out of which rupees 4500 at 5% and remaining at 6%.Find the total interest paid by him in 4 years.

At first ,find out S.I of 4500.
S.I=4500*5*4/100
S.I= 900

Then find out S.I of remaining money 3500.
S.I = 3500*6*4/100
S.I=840
so ,total intrest he had to pay is 900+840=1740.
