Answer:

Gain Rs.94

Step-by-step explanation:

C.P. of one almirah =Rs.4800

Gain%=1331%=340%

∴S.P.=100C.P.×(100+Gain%)

=1004800×(100+340)

=100×34800×340=Rs.5440

C.P. of second almirah =Rs.3640

Loss%=15%

S.P.=100C.P.×(100−Loss%)

=1003640×(100−15)

=Rs.1003640×85=Rs.3094

C.P. of both the almirahs =Rs.4800+Rs.3640=Rs.8440

and S.P. =Rs.5440+Rs.3094=Rs.8534

Total gain = S.P. - C.P. =Rs.8534−Rs.8440=Rs.94

Step-by-step explanation:

1st almirah profit amt =4800*40/300=640 rupees

2 nd almirah loss amt=3640*15/100=546 rupees

profit amount is large so he gained 94 rupees in whole deal(640-546=94rupees)
