24 kmph = 24×100060=40024×100060=400 m / min
In 4 minutes he covered 4 x 400 = 1600 m
This is equal to the perimeter 2 ( l + b) = 1600
But l : b = 3:2
Let l = 3k, b = 2k
Substituting, we get 2 ( 3k + 2k ) = 1600 => k = 180
So dimensions are 480 x 320

The length of the park is 480m and the breadth of the park is 320m.

Given:

Raj drives at the speed of 24 kmph.

He completes 1 full round of park in 4mins.

The ratio of the length to the breadth of the park is 3:2.

To Find:

We have to find the dimensions of the park.

Solution:

In 60 mins Raj drives 24000m

In 1 min, Raj drives  \frac{24000}{60} m

In 4min, Raj drives ( 400*4 )m =1600m

Now, let us assume, the length and breadth of the park are 3xm and 2x m respectively.

Therefore, the perimeter of the park= 2×(3x+2x)m  = 10x m

Again,

10x = 1600

⇒ x = 160

Hence, the length and breadth of the park are (3×160)=480m and (2×160)=320m respectively.
