Answer:

Rs.200/-

Step-by-step explanation:

Raj gets monthly 1000 rupees as pocket as described above he spends total money =2/10+1/10+3/10+2/10

=8/10

i,g 8th part of 1000 rupees is rs. 800/-

So, remaining amount is 1000-800=200rupees

again 2/10 th part of 1000 is 200

So,Raj saves 2/10 th part of his pocket money

Raj save by the end of the month Rs. 200.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Rs 1000 as pocket money every month which Raj gets.

Raj spends 2/10 of it on books and stationary, 1/10 on travelling, 3/10 on food and 2/10 on recreation and entertainment.

To Find:

Raj save by the end of the month.

Solution:

As given,Rs 1000 as pocket money every month which Raj gets.

Raj gets pocket money every month = Rs.=1000

As given,Raj spends 2/10 of it on books and stationary, 1/10 on travelling, 3/10 on food and 2/10 on recreation and entertainment.

Raj monthly  spends = \frac{2}{10}\times 1000+ \frac{1}{10}\times 1000+\frac{3}{10}\times 1000+\frac{2}{10}\times 1000

                                   = 200+100+300+200\\= Rs.800

Raj save by the end of the month=Raj gets pocket money every month-Raj monthly  spends

                                                        =1000-800\\=Rs.200

Thus, Raj save by the end of the month Rs. 200.
