To find maximum identical gifts using all 3 varieties we have to find Greatest Common divisor i.e. HCF
and for this we have to write the factors of 72 , 27 and 54.
72 = 3 × 24 = 3 × 3 × 8 = 3 × 3 × 2 × 4 = 3 × 3 × 2 × 2 × 2
27 = 3 × 9 = 3 × 3 × 3
54 = 3 × 18 = 3 × 3 × 6 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 2
HCF = Product of common factors of 72 , 27 and 54
HCF = 3 × 3 = 9
Hence there can be 9 identical gifts of 3 different variety
and for this we have to write the factors of 72 , 27 and 54.
72 = 3 × 24 = 3 × 3 × 8 = 3 × 3 × 2 × 4 = 3 × 3 × 2 × 2 × 2
27 = 3 × 9 = 3 × 3 × 3
54 = 3 × 18 = 3 × 3 × 6 = 3 × 3 × 3 × 2
HCF = Product of common factors of 72 , 27 and 54
HCF = 3 × 3 = 9
Hence there can be 9 identical gifts of 3 different variety
