Answer:

he can buy 4 shirts with 500 if he wants to buy 25 he need to have 3,125

Step-by-step explanation:

one shirt=125

then if you want to buy shirts for 500,

500 ÷125 =4

so you can buy 4 for 500

if you want to buy 25 shirts then

125×25=3,125

Given:

Total number of shirts = 25

Cost of each shirt =  ₹500

Find:

Shirts will he be able to buy if each shirt costs ₹125 more.

Solution:

Total number of shirts = 25

Cost of each shirt =  ₹500

Total amount with Raj = 25 × 500

                                        = 12500

→ Increased amount = ₹500 + ₹125

                                  = ₹625

If Raj has ₹12500 for the number of shirts he could buy would be obtained only when we divide the amount by ₹625

Number of shirts brought = \frac{12500}{625}

                                          = 20

So, Raj could by 20 shirts which cost ₹625 each.

I hope it will help you.

Regards.
