Vehicles, vehicles everywhere, not an iota of space to move on roads. Vehicles were invented for the convenience of man, but see their travesty; they have become a nuisance and a source of so much inconvenience for him!
The number of vehicles have grown phenomenally on the roads in India. The problem has grown so much out of proportion that during the rush hours there is utter chaos on roads in the cities and towns. Long traffic jams and accidents have become everyday occurrences now. The people who suffer the most are the pedestrians. Not only it is impossible for them to move, but their health suffers also. They are forced to inhale poisonous emissions from the vehicles.
The Government must implement stricter vehicle purchase laws. Limits to the purchase of vehicles should be set. Roads should be widened. Special pedestrian paths should be built across roads for pedestrians.
