Answer:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2 x (length + breadth)

                                           = 2 x (60 m + 15 m )

                                           = 150 m

So, Total distance covered by Raj = 150 m x 2

                                                          = 300 m

Perimeter of a square = 4 x side

                                      = 4 x 35 m

                                      = 140 m

So, Total distance covered by Rani = 140 m x 3

                                                            = 420 m

i.e. Rani covered more distance than Raj by 120 m (420 m - 300 m = 120 m).

WE KNOW THAT :-

PERIMETER OF THE RECTANGLE IS=2×(length+breadth)

Step-by-step explanation:

Now,

Perimeter of rectangular park =2×(60+15)

= 2×75 = 150cm

Therefore,

Raj takes 2 rounds of the park so that

the distance covered by Raj = 2×150= 300cm

Now,

Rani takes 3 round of rectangular park

so,The distance covered by Rani is = 150= 450cm

it mean that rani will cover more distance by raj
