Answer:

In the Ramayana, the life of Lord Shri Ram is an ideal for all beings. His life is an inspiration to all of us, who teaches us that a person should continue to perform his duties under any circumstances. One such duty is 'Rajdharma'. The term Rajdharma is also used extensively in current politics. Rajdharma means the religion of a power or king. In the Ramayana, Rajdharma is very beautifully interpreted. which is like this-

Lord Shri Ram was about to be crowned in Ayodhya. The day before the coronation, King Dasaratha taught the Rajdharma to Lord Shri Ram. King Dasaratha said to Shri Ram, son Rama, tomorrow is your coronation. You will be wearing a Rajmukut, but remember this, he who wears a Rajmukut, surrenders himself to his kingdom and his subjects. To be a king means to become a monk.

Ayodhya King further explained Rajdharma and said, a king has nothing of his own. Everything belongs to the state. If required, the king should not hesitate if he has to give up his woman, children, friends and even his life for the benefit of his kingdom and subjects. Because the state is his friend and the state is his family.

He who does not give up everything for the subjects of the kingdom has no right to take his subjects as a king. The king has to establish an ideal and dignity from every decision he makes. Because like a king, people also see their king and conduct him. The basic strength of a king is not punishment but justice. Justice that is free from bias.

The king has been called the God of the kingdom. Because all the happiness and misery and life of the people in the hands of their king. Therefore, a king must have compassion, forgiveness, generosity and compassion. At the same time, during the war, the king should lead his army and stand in the first line. Because even a king who is not brave does not respect his army. A king should always bow before the sages, thinkers and poets. Because they are his true designators.

A king should also patronize his critics, so that they can tell his shortcomings to him. The king must have full news of his kingdom through his detectives. In the end, King Dasharatha told Maryada Purushottam Rama that son Rama, I know that you are full of politics. But it is the duty of a visiting king to tell his experiences to the coming king. Thus King Dasaratha taught Raja Dharma to Lord Shri Ram
