Raja is a wholesaler of stationery items. He wants to pack 42,624 Pencils in 192 Cartons equally. He finds that 48 of the cartons are damaged. How many more pencils will he need to pack in each of the remaining cartons such that the number of pencils in each carton is the same?​

total cartoons=192

number of pencils=42624

number of pencil in one cartoon=42624/192=222

according to question

48 cartoons are damaged

remaining cartoons= 192-48=144

now number of pencil in one catoon=42624/144=296

296-222= 74

hence 74 more pencils pack in one cartoon
